Putting The Squeeze On Film...
By Andrew Hunter
Pretty much everything we have reviewed on this film podcast we have both enjoyed, but then we reviewed Batman V Superman :Dawn Of Justice and everything changed. Don't get me wrong it had some good parts, Ben Affleck played a good solid Batman, I'd be interested to see him do a stand alone Batman movie. The Batman fight in the warehouse was fantastic, really captured a different version of The Dark Knight that we haven't seen on screen before. Gal Gadot as Wonder Women was another highlight of an otherwise dull movie, every time the Wonder Women theme came on you knew on screen was going to pick up. Jeremy Irons was a plus as Alfred, hell I even liked Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, as controversial as that sounds. But yeah then the fact that they must have decided, "lets make Batman V Superman between four to five movies, cause the Marvel universe is making a ton of money, and we are so behind. Also is there any way you can script somebody to have a hammer like Thor?". So they have multiple stories going on and succeed at fulfilling none, in a overly convincing way. The script is weak, the story sporadic, it could and should have been one of the best superhero movies, but really wasn't, I mean Batman V Superman even the casual movie goer is going to be interested, I mean it's two of the biggest comic book characters ever, but they failed. In my opinion this should have been Henry Cavill doing his second Superman film, getting a chance for the audience to actually care about his character, but in my opinion they just decided to rush it, if only they could get Superman to fly round the earth, so they could go back in time and do the film again..... Wait!!

I like to imagine that you can interchange Lois for the Dawn Of Justice movie and Christopher Reeve is desperately trying to change it. Listen to us find every flaw in much more detail below.
